Pradhan MantriAwasYojana (PMAY) aims at Providing Housing for All (HFA) by 2022 when the Nation Complete 75 years of its independence. The Mission seeks to address the housing requirement of urban poor including slum dwellers through “In Situ” Slum Redevelopment, Affordable Housing through credit linked subsidy, Affordable Housing in partnership and subsidy for beneficiary led individual house. Under the mission, beneficiaries can take advantage under one component only.

Green City Mission

Green City Mission project will upgrade and develop Greenery and physical urban infrastructure along with improvement of basic services for the urban people as well as boosting growth of the towns of the state in a uniform and harmonic manner. Swachh Bharat Mission is being implemented by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (M/o HUA) and by the Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation (M/o DWS) for urban and rural areas respectively.
